Unitel T +, a Cape Verdean telecommunications company, was awarded the 'Farol'- Company of the Year award in 2014 and was the winner of the Services category at the II Annual Gala of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Sotavento.

In this edition, which took place on Saturday night (Nov. 15) at the Praia Mar da Gala Hotel, the Chamber of Commerce introduced the "Farol" Prize in the CCISS calendar to reward and recognize the corporate merit of the associated companies, appointed by the jury and which competed in the four basic sectors, namely Trade, Industry, Services and Agribusiness. In the trade category, the prize went to Moave in Industry, Tecnicil Indústria was the winner, Unitel T + won the Services category and Agro-Centro won the agribusiness category. In the category of young entrepreneur the winner of the year went to the entrepreneur Neusa Silva of the Guide of Services and the Businesswoman Miluci Santos, of Girasol Tours, was the winner of the Women Entrepreneur Award.
